Making a difference by investing in the Kingdom of God above and beyond tithing.
By God’s abundant grace and blessings, and through the sacrifice of others, we have been able to be irrationally generous as a church in our support of reputable organizations and individuals to expand the Kingdom of God throughout our communities, our country, and the rest of our world. Raising $1.5 million in 2024 will require a generous sacrifice from all of us, some giving sacrificially and others from great abundance.
If this is your first time giving, or if you’re looking to grow to a new level of giving, here are some ways to step out in generosity.
When you make plans that are diligent it leads to plenty (Proverbs 21:5). Whatever the amount is – have a plan in place, work the plan, and be obedient with it. Start there.
This is beyond what you have the ability to do with your natural income. It requires that you take a step of faith to believe God to do more. Additionally, Habakkuk 2:2 tells us write the vision down and pray about it. God WILL supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:19)! Stepping out in faith pleases God. When you look at what He has in His hands it goes to another level.
Hold onto it. This number is only between you and God. Watch as each step of faith you take, God will move you closer and closer to that dream. God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we can ask, dream, or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).While there will be hundreds of people giving as Kingdom Builders in 2024, always remember every gift matters to God. It’s not the size of the gift, but the obedience to God’s voice that matters most. Now more than ever, make a plan to give, ask God for a vision in your generosity, and hold onto the dream of what God will do as you step out in faith.
What it means to be a Kingdom Builder is the same whether you are a kid, student, or adult. Kingdom Builders are made up of individuals and families who prayerfully commit to give over and above their regular tithe to global missions, local church expansion, and future Christian leaders. It is not about the amount of money they have, but the sacrifice they are willing to make. If you give above and beyond your tithe, no matter how little or how much, you are a Kingdom Builder. Step out in generosity!
